Arizona wildfire spurs 14 wrongful death lawsuits

This past summer, the Yarnell Hill Wildfire tore through thousands of acres in Arizona. Firefighters were brought in by local and state officials to beat back the massive blaze and attempt to save as much property as possible. All told, at least $184 million worth of private property was destroyed. Not only that, but 19 firefighters also lost their lives trying to serve the public.

NHTSA commits to plan regarding elderly drivers

One safety issue on the road that has always existed is elderly drivers. The issue has gained a lot of traction over the past few years, and even decades. As the population gets older, there are bound to be more and more drivers on the road who are significantly "up there" in age.

Semi truck tips over on Arizona freeway

A semi truck accident near the border of Arizona and New Mexico caused a scare for many drivers during their morning commute today. The wreck occurred on Interstate 40 in an area where icy conditions were reported. However, at this time, it is not clear if ice (or weather in general) played a role in the accident.

Dozens of vehicles (and dozens more injured) involved in pileup

It seems like every month or so, a really bad pileup crash occurs. Sometimes this happens because of bad weather; other times it may be due to random circumstances and bad luck; but in regardless of the cause, these massive pileup accidents usually leave many people injured and many more asking questions about how the accident will be sorted out and resolved.

Arizona car crash leaves professional baseball players hurt

A car accident in Scottsdale, Arizona left a number of professional baseball players injured and in need of medical attention after their team van crashed into another vehicle. The players, who are a part of the minor league team affiliated with the San Francisco Giants, were taken to the hospital after the accident. Five players in total required the hospital trip, and shortly thereafter they were released and back with the team to rest up.
