6 huge reasons that couples split up

It often seems like infidelity is the first thing people think of when asked why they think the divorce rate is so high. Certainly, this can have a huge impact and it does every year. However, it’s important to note that marriages end for all sorts of reasons, including:

• Two people got married very quickly. They may not have known each other as well as they thought. After dating for six months and getting married, they then learned enough over the next three years of marriage to know they made a mistake.
• People resent the loss of independence. Studies have shown that both men (24 percent) and women (44 percent) cited this as a reason for divorce.
• Couples have money problems. These take many forms. One spouse may want to spend every cent, while the other wants to save everything. Both are perpetually unhappy with how money is used. Money issues can also crop up when one spouse earns far more than the other.
• Communication falls apart. Couples sometimes don’t talk about little issues, and everything builds and builds until there’s a catastrophic breakdown of the marriage.
• The romance ends. Dating may have been a whirlwind of fun a
• People fall into addictions. Again, these can taknd excitement, but marriage just feels boring.e many forms. A gambling addiction could sap the family finances, or an alcohol addiction could make the home unsafe for children.

These are just six examples, but they help show that divorce comes for a multitude of reasons. In all of these cases, it’s crucial for those getting divorced to know their rights regarding child custody, child support, asset division and more.
