Being “Aggressive” in your Divorce
Hiring an “Aggressive” attorney in your divorce may or may not be what you are looking for. Hiring a “thorough” and “knowledgable” attorney may be a more appropriate trait to look for. You want an attorney who will look at all of the assets and debts in detail and advise you accordingly. The word “aggressive” implies a level of unprofessionalism that can backfire on you in front of a judge. No matter your personal feelings toward your soon-to-be ex-spouse, your attorney should always be professional and honest.
You want your attorney to be thorough in his/er investigation of the case and know what the most important issues and how to present those facts to the opposing counsel/party and the Court. Being mean or rude to your spouse will not help your case in any way.
When looking for an attorney make sure to inquire as to their experience and their approach to your divorce.
