Child custody mediation, and what you can do about it

Divorce is already jarring enough to your routine and your child's routine. But a part of divorce is dividing your assets, your time, and in a purely figurative way, your children. In many cases, the splitting spouses are able to reach a child custody agreement before things go to court, thereby ensuring that custody will be shared in some way. Such an agreement makes sure each parent gets some time with their child.

Witnesses said that the motorcyclist was flung at least 100 feet from his or her motorcycle. The wreck occurred at 7 a.m. and involved another vehicle, which apparently was leaving a private drive. Few other details have been released about this crash, but the police will look into the matter.

No blame for driver in fatal Arizona pedestrian accident

A pedestrian accident in Arizona claimed the life of a Phoenix woman recently. The accident occurred at 9:45 p.m. and it appears that the 49-year-old woman did not observe safe traffic protocol. She stepped out into traffic when she should have yielded the right of way to the vehicle that struck her. Police will not charge the driver of the vehicle involved in this fatal accident.

Older couples have many assets to consider during divorce

A study by some sociologists at Bowling Green University has found that the divorce rate for people over the age of 50 has doubled in the last 20 years. The trend has become so prominent that it has it's own term: "gray divorce." Arizona residents have likely heard about gray divorce and its stunning rise, but that is just the problem. Gray divorce is always put in a "stunning" or "unexpected" or "alarming" context, as if older people aren't supposed to get divorced.

Her 44-year-old friend was not hurt in the accident and the 42-year-old driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to talk with police.

Student debt is actually a crucial asset in divorce

Imagine for a moment that you and your longtime boyfriend or girlfriend decide it's time to get married. So the two of you have your special day, and for years you live happily married. During that time, your spouse decides it is time that he or she go back to college for a graduate program. You support your spouse, and after years of studying and working hard, your spouse completes the graduate program.
