| Jun 22, 2015 | Car Accidents

Four vehicles were involved in a serious car accident in Phoenix, Arizona recently, and as a result two people are dealing with life-threatening injuries. The wreck occurred at an intersection where the driver of a truck decided to plow through a red light. That vehicle struck at least one other vehicle, and the resulting wreck eventually involved four vehicle in total.

The driver of the truck that ran the red light suffered broken bones and was listed in critical condition at a nearby hospital. A woman and a child in another vehicle suffered the life-threatening injuries. Little else is known about this crash so it will be interesting to see what the investigation into the crash reveals.

There are a couple of things to take away from this unfortunate accident. The first is that the serious injuries that can be involved in a wreck are often life changing. Even if the person survives the serious injuries they have sustained in a car accident they may not be able to do the things that they did before the wreck. This impact may not just be physical, but mental as well. These effects, may they be permanent or temporary, should not go unpunished. If a negligent driver caused your harm, you could hold him or her responsible.

Which brings us to the driver who ran the red light in this story. He will certainly be facing some serious consequences as a result of his actions. Running a red light is an obvious form of negligent or reckless driving.
