Road rage accident caught on video, police file charges

In a remarkable story, a road rage accident was caught on video by a dashboard camera being used by an ordinary citizen. Don't worry, no injuries were reported in the accident and it doesn't appear that anything terrible happened after the camera stopped rolling -- other than some damage to the vehicles.

Accidents involving injuries, deaths way up in first half of 2015

A new report from the National Safety Council is filled with bad news, even though there is some silver lining to the report. The NSC looked at traffic accidents for the first half of 2015, and what the agency found is an alarming rise in injury accidents and fatal accidents. At the current pace, 2015 will be one of the worst years in a decade for road accidents.

Prepare for some common divorce issues before filing

Divorce is fraught with potential financial and legal pitfalls that the splitting spouses must navigate -- sometimes together, but often apart. When you are going through a divorce, it is absolutely vital that you obtain your own, independent legal counsel to ensure that your divorce is being handled in the right way.

Vehicle carrying 9 people flips over in fatal wreck

A few weeks ago, Interstate 10 became an absolute mess when a car had a terrible breakdown and created a tragic motor vehicle accident. The wreck happened after one of the rear tires blew out on the large vehicle, which was carrying nine people in it. The vehicle then careened across the median and into oncoming traffic. Miraculously, it did not hit another vehicle. Five of the people inside the vehicle were ejected.

Fatal wreck claims the life of Scottsdale pedestrian

A pedestrian was struck and killed in Scottsdale, Arizona last week. It is unclear if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk or not. She was in the street when a motor vehicle struck here. She was declared dead at the scene, and the driver who hit her remained there. Police do not suspect that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, nor do they believe the driver was speeding.

Why a divorce isn't the 'failure' it is often portrayed as

It is very easy to portray divorce as a "failure." The couple failed; or one of the spouses failed; or their relationship failed. Something inherent to the marriage equation broke, and the resulting divorce is supposedly the culminating failure of that broken aspect.
