Police car at crash scene t-boned by possibly impaired driver

Two police officers and another person were injured in a car crash recently after a vehicle barreled into the side of a police car even though its lights were flashing. The police car was stopped on the road, along with a tow truck (which also had its lights flashing), to attend to another car accident. All of a sudden, another vehicle smashed into the side of the police car, causing a T-bone accident.

All of the injured people needed to be transported to a hospital after the crash. The police are looking into the crash and it appears that impairment may have been involved in the crash.

Regardless of whether the police are involved in a given accident, if another driver was impaired while operating their vehicle, then the victims of the crash -- or their loved ones -- need to hold them responsible for their reckless behavior.

Often in these cases, a personal injury lawsuit is one of the best ways to hold them responsible while also giving you or your loved ones a chance to earn the compensation they need to deal with the aftermath of the crash. Medical bills, property damage and other costs can dramatically affect someone's life after a crash.

Hopefully all of the injured people in this story make a full recovery. If you have been injured in a car accident and are considering pursuing a personal injury lawsuit, you should consult with an experienced attorney first to get your case off on the right foot.
